Come celebrate the Indian Festival of Lights with an exquisite Kuchipudi dance recital by Shoba Natarajan, Sasikala Penumarthi and Anuradha Nehru, all senior disciples of the world renowned Guru Vempati Chinna Satyam. Kuchipudi, the classical dance form of Andhra Pradesh is related to Bharat Natyam and includes graceful movements set to intricate rhythmic variations. The programme will include six dances set to songs from the well known composers of Carnatic classical music.

Shoba was awarded the title Nadanamaamani from Karthik Fine Arts, and the title Yuva Kala Bharati from Bharat Kalachar.
Shoba is one of India's most highly acclaimed Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dancers. She has been trained by such renowned gurus as Kamala, Swamimalai Rajaratnam, and Vempati Chinna Satyam. Shoba has received numerous important dance awards and has given solo performances at major festivals in India and around the world.
