Samskriti is a cultural and educational organization devoted to the cause of promoting Indian dance, music and allied arts by conducting classes, workshops, performances, and summer camps. Year-round classes are offered in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Carnatic music, and Yoga. Call for details on Summer 2000 - Intensive Kuchipudi workshop

PAYMENT DETAILS
Full day: $175 for one week (five days), $160 (Samskriti students)
Half day: $90 for one week, $85 (Samskriti students)
Full day with accommodation: $225 for one week (maximum five nights)

Families with more than one child participating will get a sibling discount of 10% on each additional child.

We agree to comply with all the policies and regulations of the camp. We will not hold the Center or the director/s responsible for any injury to our child on the camp premises or for the loss of personal articles.

 


Parents please note:

  1. Parents are requested to drop-off /pick-up their child at the scheduled times. Please inform me well ahead of time if you will be late. An additional fee will be charged if the child has to stay later than the camp hours. Camp timings are from 9 AM to 5 PM.

  2. Accommodation (maximum of five days) is available for participants (both out of town and local) who cannot be dropped off/picked up on a daily basis. These participants can come on Sunday night and leave with their parents on the final day.

  3. Payment is due in full at the time of registration.

  4. Please send a bag with the following:
    T-shirt and sweat pants for yoga
    Loose-fitting salwar-kameez OR T-shirt & sweat pants for dance (skirts, shorts and jeans are not allowed)
    Big notebook with pen/pencil in a folder
    Indian clothes (if available) for the concluding day

  5. Please send packed lunch for your child. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

  6. Let us know of any food allergies or special medical conditions that your child might have.

  7. Please avoid calling the camp premises, unless absolutely necessary. We will contact you if we need to talk to you about anything concerning your child.

  8. Parents are welcome to contribute their talents/skills in any way. Please let us know how you can help.
  9. A concluding day get-together of all the participants and their families will be organized. The participants will receive their certificates at this time. More details on this will follow closer to the camp date.
