A basic interaction scenario between two service providers and a client
is described in Figure 1. Client A is the party instigating
the overall process. Service provider B offers a scientific data computation
service. Service provider C offers storage for scientific data.
In our scenario, Client A makes use of the data computation service
provided by B. Client A sends the data on which to perform
the computation for storage to provider C. Service provider C
will upload the data to service provider B and inform the client
once the data is ready. Client A will run the operation on
the data and receive results from service provider B.
