Signal Handling
Anetd catches the following signals:
- SIGINT: causes Anetd to perform a semi-orderly shutdown.
Upon receipt of SIGINT, Anetd also attempts to terminate all
running child processes (EEs) that have the autokill option
set (the default). Anetd terminates child processes by sending
them, in order, the signals SIGINT, SIGTERM, and SIGKILL until
either the process terminates or each signal has been sent.
See also the KILL command.
- SIGHUP: causes Anetd to reinitialize, including reloading
of its configuration file(s) and refetching and reloading of
all ACL and TCL files. Reinitialization does not include shutdown
or restart of EEs.
- SIGUSR1: causes Anetd to reload its ACL and TCL files
(master and local) without refetching the master files from
the ACL/TCL server.
